Referral Process
Individuals can self-refer by calling 022 000 7628. Alternatively, referrals can come via GP or other local mental health or community organisation.
Description
South Canterbury Opioid Recovery Service provides methadone or alternatively buprenorphine as treatments for people with an opiate addiction. Ongoing care includes psychiatric assessment, medical assessment from a GP, case management with a registered nurse, peer support workers and community support services.
