The Maternal Mental Health Liaison offers mental health screenings for prenatal woman who may have a mental health concern or be on prescribed psychiatric treatment. We provide recommendations to woman in relation to their individual situation which may include a number of the following: facilitation of inpatient care with our regional service based in Christchurch, continued follow up or advice and referral to other community based organisations.
