Individuals can self-refer by calling 0800 277 997. Alternatively, referrals can come via GP or other local mental health or community organisation.

The Maternal Mental Health Liaison offers mental health screenings for prenatal woman who may have a mental health concern or be on prescribed psychiatric treatment. We provide recommendations to woman in relation to their individual situation which may include a number of the following: facilitation of inpatient care with our regional service based in Christchurch, continued follow up or advice and referral to other community based organisations.
