Referral Process
GP, Plunket nurse, midwife or Well Child Provider referral or through the Taranaki ABC Team or Te Puna Waiora Inpatient Unit.
Individuals may also be referred via another DHB outside of Taranaki, when appropriate.
Description
This service provides recovery-orientated treatment and support for mothers and babies. Support is provided to mothers who are experiencing acute deterioration in their mental health during pregnancy or during the first 12 months after birth.
We are based in North Taranaki but mobile services are available, when needed.
