Referral Process

All referrals to CAMHS are coordinated through the Manaaki Centre, Thames. Phone 0800 080 339 or (07) 868 0041.

Anyone can make a referral including a GP, hospital, doctor, school or family/whānau. A young person can also self-refer.

Description

This service is for children and youth who are experiencing significant challenges in their lives because of a serious mental health issue.

The service is available FREE of charge to those aged 0 - 18 years.

We offer:

  • Specialist services and a holistic approach provided to infants, children, young people and their whānau.
  • Whānau Support Services - providing support to whānau who have a child or young person under CAMHS service.

We are part of the Hauraki cluster - Ko Ngā Tatai Tu Kauri - who work together to provider CAMHS services.
