Referral Process
Individuals can access this service via self-referral or can be referred by whānau, GP or another community mental health provider. Please contact Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Tamawhariua directly.
Description
This service provides advocacy on behalf of individuals, rangatahi (youth) and whānau. The process includes Te Wairua, Te Hinengaro, Te Tinana and Te Whānau. Cultural support and clinical management is also provided to clients and their whānau.
While the service is Kaupapa Māori based, it is intended to not only meet the needs of Māori but everyone.
