Referral Process

To self refer, drop in to our clinic at Level 1, 1154 Hinemoa Street, Hinemoa Tower, Rotorua. We are open Monday to Friday 9am till 5pm.  

Description

Working with young people aged 12 to 25 years, Manaaki Ora has counsellors attached to most high schools in Rotorua.  We will also see young people in their own homes or at our offices based in town.  

Our counsellors see young people who:

  • Want some information or support
  • Want to kōrero/talk about stuff that is bothering them
  • Are worried about themself or a friend or family
  • Are getting into trouble because of alcohol and other drugs
  • Are using alcohol or drugs to cope with strong feelings or stress
