Description
We begin with an Alcohol and/or Drug Assessment followed by working together to establish the best next step for your journey. You will be supported, challenged and encouraged to make positive changes in your life so that you can find hope, direction, peace and stability. The process will allow you to better understand your substance use, set goals for change, learn strategies to manage triggering situations or feelings, and understand your high risk situations. You will end up with a personal plan to reduce the harm you are experiencing.
The process starts with a Drug & Alcohol Assessment, followed by confirmation of a treatment pathway. Treatment options include:
- One-to-one individual assessment via phone
- Referral to a Drive Soba programme, if you are facing 3 or more drink driving charges and this programme is appropriate
- Referral to a Choice one day workshop to address methamphetamine misuse, if appropriate
- Making Changes Programme 4 x one hour phone appointments with work book provided
