Referral Process
Our friendly team are on hand to help with any enquiries, otherwise access to this Service can be through; Self-Referral, Mental Health Services, Whānau/Caregivers/Schools, GP’s/Primary Practitioners, Inpatient Services.
This service is for:
- Children and young persons aged from 0 – 18 years (or up to 25 depending on individual's circumstance) with a range of conditions, including a suspected psychiatric disorder or psychological disorder including severe emotional and behavioral disturbance;
- Whānau or significant person you choose to be involved with your care plan;
- Or any persons wanting to find out more about mental health.
- Schools or Services requiring support for children and young persons aged as above
Description
Upon receipt of a referral we offer free, confidential assessment, treatment and support for children and young people with mental health problems and assistance to their whānau/caregivers.
Our qualified staff will help you (the client) to participate in making your own treatment plan and will support you together with other service providers of your choice.
