Our staff are highly qualified and have experience in many aspects of counselling. We specialise in Alcohol and Other Drug counselling. This service unit was established in 1996 to cater to the needs of our community by applying the Kaupapa of Mana Tangata (respect the individual), and Mana Whanau (respect the family).

The Alcohol and Drug Service has qualified and experienced staff that encourage individual and whanau involvement.

We provide:

  • Individual and Whanau support
  • Counselling
  • Individual Assessments
  • Substance Use Issues

 We are a confidential, friendly, culturally safe and supportive service

Outreach Clinics by appointment:

Ngaruawahia - Ngaruawahia Community House, 13 Galileo Street
                         Tuesday & Wednesday 9.30am - 4.30pm

Te Kauwhata - D.I.S.C, 1a Waerenga Road.                                                         
                        Thursday 9.30am - 4.30pm

Raglan - Raglan Community House, 45 Bow Street.        
               Wednesday 9.30am - 2pm

 *We also offer professional referrals to substance detoxification and rehabilitation centres.
