Te Rauawa o te Waka Hinengaro Hauora (Māori Mental Health Services)

Te Rauawa o te Waka Hinengaro Hauora work with whānau/family and staff to manaaki, awhi and tautoko the tangata whaiora on their journey to wellness. Te Rauawa o te Waka Hinengaro Hauora is based in the Greymouth Community Mental Health unit. Our service consists of a Kaiarahi / MMH Manager and 4 Pukenga Tiaki covering the three areas Southern, Central and Northern districts. Their role is varied and involves having a wealth of knowledge from a clinical, practical and Tikanga perspective.

All West Coast DHB mental health clients who identify as Māori are eligible to receive Māori Mental Health services.

Public Transport

St John runs two rural shuttle services from Monday - Friday. St John do not charge a fee for this services, however they do accept donations to help cover costs.
