Description

Mahi Tu Ora is a supported employment service aimed at assisting Tangata Whaiora to gain meaningful employment and/or training. The programme focuses on the aspirations of Nga Tangata Whaiora. The Mahi Tu Ora programme operates in the Manawatu and the Horowhenua region.

Our kaiwhakahaere-a-mahi (coaches) assist those coping with mental health issues to find employment, and/or training.  We assist them to reach their aspirations with goal setting, tailored planning, 1-1 support and coaching.  Once they attain their goals we then assist them through additional planning to remain in work or training by ensuring that they have whānau and wider community supports in place.
