Free stop smoking support across the Whanganui Region.
Staff
All staff are qualified stop smoking practitioners and ex-smokers with a lived experience of quitting.
Our team is made up of a range of ages, ethnicities and backgrounds but we all understand the stop smoking journey and are ready to support you towards becoming smokefree.
Charges
All of our services and products are free to anyone who lives, works or plays in the Whanganui Region who would like to quit smoking.

Whanganui Stop Smoking Service - Ngā Taura Tūhono has combined the strengths of existing stop smoking services in our region; we are working together to support our community to become smokefree. Our team of Wellbeing/Whānau Practitioners know that when individuals and families start the journey to being smokefree, they are starting the journey of transforming themselves and their future and we are here to walk that journey with you. We have a range of options available to provide support, including clinics in a range of places, and we can come to your home or workplace. If you are a workplace, and want to have regular support for staff we would love to come to you. The Stop Smoking Service will help you to find the best way to become smokefree and we will support you along the way. Our free services include: consults and follow up appointments nicotine patches, lozenges and gum carbon monoxide tests quit books and quit calenders We understand that everyone is different and our dedicated team are here to help you for however we can and as long as you need us to.
