Description

The Youth Addictions and Mental Health Alliance (YAMHA) came together to provide clinical leadership across the Canterbury DHB- funded teams providing child and youth mental health and addictions services within the community. 

Community Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) is a working group initiative, within YAMHA, made up of CAF Services, Odyssey House (Christchurch), Stepping Stone Trust and Pegasus Health. CYMHS aims to increase community access, establish a coordination role and gather information about needs for youth mental health services in Canterbury.

YAMHA members also includes: St John of God Waipuna, PuraPura WhetuCommunity Wellbeing North Canterbury Trust,  Christchurch PHO, Christchurch City Mission, CDHB CAFLink, CDHB Schools’ Mental Health Team and CDHB Specialist Mental Health and Addiction Services.
