Programmes
The Primary Mental Health Service includes mental health in primary care for people who can be appropriately supported in that setting. The Service includes brief interventions (up to 5 with a brief intervention coordinator), access to psychology services, extended consultations with a GP or practice nurse, and targeted GP consultations for people with a serious mental health condition. This Service can assist people with concerns such as anxiety, low mood, stress management, relationships and adjusting to work and life challenges. We can triage to other services such as alcohol and drug services.
