Description
We are a not-for-profit community mental health support service that provides Peer Support, Advocacy and Education to people who live or work in the Hutt Valley, who self-identify as having experience of mental distress and/or illness.
We also offer transitional housing to single males and females who either have no mental illness or low to medium levels of mental illness.

Fees and Charges Description
No fees apply for our mental health services and groups.
For our transitional housing, board is set at $109 per week and covers electricity, wifi, Sky TV subscription and general consumables such as laundry powder and washing liquid.

Elaine takes our Cooking Class intergrating ingredients received from Kaibosh showing participants what can be achieved with many everyday items. Group size limited to 5.

Referral Process
Applicants should approach MSD to apply for transitional housing. If you have been in contact with one of our Housing Co-ordinators and are aware of a vacant room you can request that MSD make a referral to us.
