Description
Welcome to Te Whare Ma, The Whitehouse. We are a place where people who are suffering or have suffered from mental health and/or addiction challenges can go to hang out, be themselves, be with others and get basic needs like food and laundry met.
We have a team of Peer Support Workers (PSWs) who are on hand to talk with, help problem solve and provide advocacy when appropriate.
We are an accepting and non-judgemental place where people who are struggling or feel like they don't belong can come along and belong. And we do activities. We go out to nature or places of interest; we cook, play cards and do things in house as well.
Come on in, check us out, see for yourself.
