Profile

Mr Ebrahim completed his specialist ENT training in 2011 at the University of Stellenbosch in Cape Town, South Africa. In 2013 he completed a Head-Neck fellowship in Brisbane, Australia and then returned to Cape Town in 2014 working
as a consultant in the public sector. 

He was the leading Head-Neck surgeon in the unit and spent the next 5 years treating patients with head-neck problems, including thyroid tumours. He has multiple publications in peer reviewed journals and in 2011 he completed his Masters (MMed), researching the spread of oral cancer to the submandibular gland.

Recently, he relocated to Hamilton with his wife and 3 children and is based at the Waikato DHB where he attends the weekly head-neck multidisciplinary meeting. He treats patients with general ENT problems but has a special interest in
Head-Neck Cancer including thyroid tumours and sinus surgery.
