Interests

I work as an Otolaryngologist, Head and Neck surgeon with subspecialty interests and expertise in Paediatric Otolaryngology, Facial Plastic Surgery and Rhinology. Following completion of my Otolaryngology training in New Zealand in 1998 I undertook a Paediatric Otolaryngology Fellowship at the Children’s Hospital, Melbourne, a general Otolaryngology Fellowship in the U.K. and a Facial Plastic Surgery Fellowship in Sydney.

My public practice is confined to nasal and sinus surgery and Paediatric Otolaryngology, with a special interest in disorders of the paediatric airway. My private practice encompasses adult and paediatric Rhinology, Paediatric Otolaryngology and Facial Plastic Surgery. My particular area of interest within facial plastic surgery is in cosmetic and functional rhinoplasty surgery with particular expertise and experience in revision rhinoplasty and complex rhinoplasty surgery.

I see and treat the following conditions:

  • Paediatric obstructive sleep apnoea
  • Adenotonsillar disease
  • Congenital and acquired paediatric neck masses
  • Sinusitis in adults and children
  • Cosmetic and functional disorders of the nose
  • Prominent ears
  • The ageing face
  • Chin augmentation

My practice does not deal with complex middle or inner ear disorders or Head and Neck tumours. I refer these patients to colleagues who have special interest and expertise in complex otology and head and neck oncology.
