Profile

Mr Jonathan Sharr is a fellowship trained specialist in Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle and Orthopaedic Trauma surgery.

Born and bred in Christchurch, Mr Sharr has a medical degree out of Otago University and completed Orthopaedic Specialist training through the New Zealand Orthopaedic Association and the Royal Australian College of Surgeons in 2011.

He is currently working out of Forte Orthopaedics in Christchurch but the majority of his time continues to be in the Public Hospital sector where he is employed by the Canterbury District Health Board, providing care to the people of Canterbury in his sub-speciality interest roles.

Interests

His sub-specialisation is surgical management of conditions of the foot, ankle and lower limb, including hip and knee joint replacement.
