Ryan is the owner and principal optometrist at NVISION Eyecare®. Over the past 10 years he has worked with various experienced optometrists in both Palmerston North and Auckland, which has given him a wide range of experience. Ryan founded NVISION Eyecare in 2018 to offer a unique eyecare-focused optometry service that allows him to focus on his various interests like children's vision, contact lenses and dry eye.

Ryan is therapeutically endorsed to prescribe topical and oral medications for ocular eye conditions. He is an authorised glaucoma prescriber, which means that he is one of a limited number of optometrists in New Zealand that can prescribe medication to treat glaucoma. Ryan is also accredited with the Civil Aviation Authority to conduct eye exams for pilots.

Ryan is interested in using technology to improve eye care. He attends conferences, in New Zealand and overseas, to stay up to date with the latest technology.
