New Zealand Artificial Limb Service
National Patient Support Group Service
New Zealand Artificial Limb Service (NZALS) is a manufacturer of individualised medical devices (primarily prosthetics) with an integrated rehabilitation and coordination of care service.
We have Limb Centres in Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington, Christchurch, and Dunedin. Limb Centres are open 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
Our Limb Centres run clinics in a number of provincial centres in Whangarei, Kaitaia, New Plymouth, Tauranga, Rotorua, Gisborne, Hawkes Bay, Manawatu, Wairarapa, Blenheim, Nelson, Greymouth, and Invercargill.
The New Zealand Artificial Limb Service' National Office is located in Wellington, running corporate affairs, including advice to the Minister of Social Development on matters relating to artificial limbs and similar devices. Please direct all enquiries for service to your nearest Limb Centre.
Independent and productive lives for our amputees
The NZALS provides individualised services to rehabilitate its patients with the aim of attaining the best possible quality of life and levels of independence, within the wider context of their families and communities. Rehabilitation is achieved through the construction and fitting of artificial limbs, providing ancillary services, and carrying out research and development.
