Getting a COVID-19 vaccine is an important step you can take to protect yourself, your kaumātua and whānau from the effects of the virus. For more information on the COVID-19 vaccines and eligibility visit Ministry of Health - COVID-19 vaccines

The majority of routine vaccinations can now be administered before, after, or at the same time as your COVID-19 vaccinations. The exception to this is the Zostavax (shingles) vaccine where a 7-day gap before or after receiving the Pfizer COVID-19 is advised. If you have any questions, please discuss with your health provider.

The demand for this service is very high at the moment so please feel free to call the pharmacy if you have any questions. Alternatively, you can email the dispensary on dispensary.chartwell@lifepharmacy.co.nz for any general queries. 

Vaccination clinic is usually open Monday to Friday. We are closed on the weekends.

Please the note that the vaccination clinic is only open certain hours per day. Please always call the pharmacy and check the vaccination clinic opening hours as this can change weekly depending on how many vaccinators are available on the day. 

Child Vaccinations (5-11 years)
Please note that as of 17 January 2022 the pharmacy will be providing limited vaccinations for children between 9am and 12.30pm Monday to Friday. This is a walk in service only to begin with. Please note that as the demand is very high, there will initially be time restrictions per vaccination. 


Covid-19 pass

My Vaccine Pass - get in person

Our service can help you request and print a My Vaccine Pass for free. Bring your NHI number if you can when you visit. You do not need to have ID or an email address. You will be asked some personal details so you can be found in the system.

The pharmacy is providing this service free of charge. Please request your pass between 9am to 12.30pm and 2pm to 4.30pm Monday to Friday. Please note, due to popular demand there may be delays and to get your pass printed, it may take an hour or two. We will do our best to provide this service as soon as possible.

 

From Dec 16 2021 to January 08 2022 - The Pharmacy will have limited staff to be able to provide this service. To avoid, dissapointment, please contact the pharmacy first to check if they are providing this service and how long it will take during this busy Christmas and Holiday period.

Covid-19 testing

This practice is not currently providing COVID-19 testing. Please refer to a list of other testing services available.

 

Sorry but we will NOT be providing Supervised Rapid Antigen tests for New Zealand Travel either. Please check online to see which other local pharmacies will be providing this service. We apologise for the inconvenience.

Pharmacists ensure that prescriptions are dispensed correctly and that the medicine and dose is appropriate for you, so that you receive the maximum benefits from your medicines. Your pharmacist will help you understand what your medicines are prescribed for, how to take them, possible side effects and how to store them.

All advice and treatment is conducted in a professional and confidential manner and most services are provided free of charge and do not generally require an appointment.

For safe disposal, please return any expired or unwanted medicines, or needles/lancets and syringes to your pharmacy. There is no charge for this service.
