The majority of routine vaccinations can now be administered before, after, or at the same time as your COVID-19 vaccinations. The exception to this is the Zostavax (shingles) vaccine where a 7-day gap before or after receiving the Pfizer COVID-19 is advised. If you have any questions, please discuss with your healthcare provider.

Our service can help you request and print a My Vaccine Pass for free. Bring your NHI number if you can when you visit. You do not need to have ID or an email address. You will be asked some personal details so you can be found in the system.

Supervised RATs for NZ Travel and NZ Courts
Supervised rapid antigen testing (RATs) is for unvaccinated people with no COVID-19 symptoms, who require evidence of a negative COVID-19 test result to travel within New Zealand, or for entry into a court of law.
- For travel, the test must be done within the 72 hours prior to travel (preferably within 24 hours). See the Unite against COVID-19 website for more travel advice.
- For court attendance, the test must be done within 24 hours.

Pharmacists can help to support the health of your family; they can provide advice and treatment for common minor illnesses for all ages.
Pharmacists ensure that prescriptions are dispensed correctly and that the medicine and dose is appropriate for you, so that you receive the maximum benefits from your medicines. Your pharmacist will help you understand what your medicines are prescribed for, how to take them, possible side effects and how to store them.
All advice and treatment is conducted in a professional and confidential manner and most services are provided free of charge and do not generally require an appointment.
For safe disposal, please return any expired or unwanted medicines, or needles/lancets and syringes to your pharmacy. There is no charge for this service.

All prescriptions from a public hospital, a midwife and a Family Planning Clinic are covered for $5 co-payments.
Prescriptions from the following providers are approved for $5 co-payments on subsidised medicines.
- Public hospital
- A midwife
- Family Planning Clinic
- Your GP (as long as they are part of a PHO)
- After Hours Accident and Medical Services (as long as they have a DHB or a PHO contract)
- Youth Health Clinics (as long as they have a DHB or a PHO contract)
- Dentists (only if the prescription relates to a service being provided under a DHB contract)
- Private specialists (only if the prescription relates to a service being provided under a DHB contract)
- Hospices (as long as they have a DHB contract)
- ACC-related claim
There is no co-payment on these medicines for children under six.
Patients can check whether they are eligible for publicly funded health and disability services by referring to the Guide to eligibility.
