This service is designed for people with long-term illnesses who may need support with their medicines. An assessment is used to identify the things that affect their ability to take medication as prescribed. Pharmacists work together with the patient to address each issue. The pharmacist is able to assist you with managing your medications and can coordinate your medications so that your prescription repeats happen all at the same time and therefore require only one trip to have your prescriptions refilled. They can also provide you with a reminder service (via text message, email or phone call) to let you know when your next supply of medications is ready for collection. This pharmacy can provide you with individually made blister packs of your medicines. These can be supplied weekly, fortnightly, or monthly depending on your needs. This type of packaging can help you to take your medicine at the right time. It can also make it easier to see if you have missed a dose or are running out. Blistering is useful if you are travelling as it avoids having to take multiple containers. Liquids are not able to be blister packed.

What is Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (OSA)?
Obstructive Sleep Apnoea is a condition wherein the soft tissues of the throat relax so much while you are asleep that you may stop breathing, often for more than a minute at a time. You may then briefly awake, often with a gasp before returning to sleep. You are likely to be totally unaware that these brief awakenings are happening and this may happen many times during the night. This restricted air supply reduces the amount of oxygen in your bloodstream which puts stress on your cardiovascular system.

We have qualified staff who can swab sore throats to check for strep throat. Strep throat is treated with antibiotics. If strep throat is left untreated it can lead to the development of rheumatic fever, which can damage joints and the heart.

We measure and fit compression stockings, either Class 1 or Class 2 depending on need. Available in knee high, full length stocking, maternity options.  Colour variety and toe in or out options available.

Compression stockings can help manage swelling due to poor circulation or varicose veins.
