Vaccinations are available EVERYDAY between 9am - 6pm.

Please note our vaccination centre is located upstairs, Level 1. Lift access also available.

Getting a COVID-19 vaccine is an important step you can take to protect yourself, your kaumātua and whānau from the effects of the virus. For more information on the COVID-19 vaccines and eligibility visit Ministry of Health - COVID-19 vaccines

The majority of routine vaccinations can now be administered before, after, or at the same time as your COVID-19 vaccinations. The exception to this is the Zostavax (shingles) vaccine where a 7-day gap before or after receiving the Pfizer COVID-19 is advised. If you have any questions, please discuss with your health provider.

Covid-19 testing

Supervised RATs for NZ Travel and NZ Courts

Supervised rapid antigen testing (RATs) is for unvaccinated people with no COVID-19 symptoms, who require evidence of a negative COVID-19 test result to travel within New Zealand, or for entry into a court of law.

  • For travel, the test must be done within the 72 hours prior to travel (preferably within 24 hours). See the Unite against COVID-19 website for more travel advice.
  • For court attendance, the test must be done within 24 hours.

For more information about rapid antigen testing, view the Ministry of Health website.

Description

FREE PRESCRIPTIONS (Conditions apply)

Free prescriptions apply to all fully government funded medicines, whereby prescriptions must be written by GP or NZ public hospitals. Partly funded medicines, non funded medicines and specialist prescriptions are not applicable in the FREE prescription service.

Pharmacists can help to support the health of your family; they can provide advice and treatment for common minor illnesses for all ages.

Pharmacists ensure that prescriptions are dispensed correctly and that the medicine and dose is appropriate for you, so that you receive the maximum benefits from your medicines. Your pharmacist will help you understand what your medicines are prescribed for, how to take them, possible side effects and how to store them.

All advice and treatment is conducted in a professional and confidential manner and most services are provided free of charge and do not generally require an appointment.

For safe disposal, please return any expired or unwanted medicines, or needles/lancets and syringes to your pharmacy. There is no charge for this service.

Please don't hesitate to contact us directly if you have any questions
