Clinical Professor of Surgery

- Any letters or reports from your doctor or another hospital
- Any X-Rays, CT or MRI films and reports
- A list of all medicines you are currently taking including herbal and natural remedies
- Your pharmaceutical entitlement card
- Your ACC number if appropriate.

- General Surgery (Groin Dissection, Axillary Dissection, Inguinal and Umbilical Hernia Repair)
- Head & Neck Surgery (Thyroid, Parathyroid, Neck Lumps + Salivary Gland Surgery)
- Skin Cancer Diagnosis & Surgery (Wide Excision + Sentinel Node Study)
- Varicose Veins Repair
- Mole Checks and removal of suspicious skin lesions in our theatre at Remuera under Local Anaesthetic as a day-stay patient.

Professor Shaw's rooms are open Monday-Friday 8 am to 5 pm and Saturday 8 am to 11 am (approximately).
Professor Shaw consults with patients weekly on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and is available to see patients at two locations:
1. Remuera: Thursday, Friday and Saturday mornings: 122 Remuera Road, Remuera, Auckland
2. Albany: Friday Afternoon: Apollo Centre for Health & Wellness: 119 Apollo Drive, Albany
Enquiries and bookings for both Remuera and Apollo Health Centre can be made via the rooms at Remuera on (09) 524 9599.
URGENT appointments outside these times are available. Please call the Remuera rooms on (09) 524 9599 for urgent bookings and all enquiries.
All minor surgery under local anaesthetic (skin cancer removal, mole checks, etc) is performed in our accredited theatre in the Remuera rooms.
