Dr Veronika van Dijck is an otolaryngologist/head and neck surgeon consulting at the Lakeside Specialist Centre in Takapuna, Auckland,  where she welcomes ENT related referrals. Veronika also works at the Skin Institute Lake Road clinic where she sees skin related conditions.

Veronika trained as a doctor and an otolaryngologist in New Zealand. She continued her specialist training in head and neck cancer at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, Australia. She is one of New Zealand's first qualified Transoral Robotic Surgeons. She represents Waitemata DHB at the Auckland Regional Head and Neck multidisciplinary meeting, and is the supervisor of ORL training for WDHB.  She is a member of NZSOHNS and ANZHNCS.

What is ENT/Otolaryngology?
Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery (ENT) is also known as Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery.  This area of medicine is concerned with disorders of the ear, nose, throat, the head and the neck.

ENT Surgeons (or otolaryngologists) are specialist doctors who deal with medical and surgical treatment of conditions of the ears, nose, throat and structures of the head and neck.
