  3. New techniques such as computer navigated and minimally invasive joint replacement surgery.
  4. Assessment of painful and/or failed joint replacement.

Referral Expectations

Your GP will send a referral letter explaining your condition. My secretary will contact you directly to confirm appointment time and details. Prioritisation of appointment times wil be made usually based on your convenience, but taking into account severity of symptoms and availability of appointments. Waiting times for appointments are not excessive and can usually be accommodated within a 3-week period. Recommendations and options regarding your future treatment plan will be discussed with you.

You need to bring to your appointment:

  1. any letters or reports from your doctor or another hospital
  2. any X-Rays, CT or MRI films and reports
  3. a list of all medicines you are currently taking including herbal and natural remedies
  4. your ACC number if appropriate.
