Bay Paediatrics is a leading New Zealand clinic specialising in diagnosing and treating Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in children and helping families navigate their child’s neurodiversity journey.

We provide a specialist ‘all-in-one’ service, meaning we can assess, diagnose and prescribe medication.

Our multi-disciplinary team of paediatricians, psychologists and behavioural change experts are committed to delivering a world-class service across the neurodiverse spectrum and beyond.

Nadia du Plessis: Child Educational Psychologist. Nadia is passionate about supporting the neurodiverse community, including both children and their families. She enjoys teaching, leading parent training seminars, and helping parents connect with and understand their children.

Freddie Bennett: Managing Director & Co-Founder. Freddie co-founded Bay Paediatrics because he’s on a mission to give families strength in neurodiversity. Developmental paediatrics

Developmental paediatrics focuses on the assessment and management of developmental and behavioural difficulties in children. This includes concerns such as delays in speech and language, motor skills, social interaction, attention, and cognitive abilities. Conditions commonly managed include autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), cerebral palsy, learning disorders, and intellectual disabilities. Developmental paediatricians work closely with families, schools, allied health professionals and other medical specialists to understand and manage these challenges.
