Cone Beam CT

The NewTom VGI-Evo is a specialised scanner which captures a series of 360 images in a single 18 second scan. From this 3D images, including primary reconstruction images in multiple planes, are produced.

The NewTom VGI-Evo Cone Beam CT uses only 10% of the radiation a conventional CT scanner uses and better still the scanner automatically adjusts the radiation dosage according to the age and weight of the patient. Children receive up to 40% less radiation than adults during a typical scan.
