Mercury Bay Community Radiology and Health Trust are funded to provide selected radiology services to patients, when referred via authorised Best Practice GP referrals.
Funded referral services can include: general x-rays, maternity ultrasounds, musculoskeletal.
Not provided at our Clinic:
- Steroid injections
- Mammograms
- Breast Ultrasounds
- Hand or Finger Ultrasounds (unless it’s Foreign Body)
- CT scans
- Artery Scans (unless DVT or Abdo Aorta)
- Leg length views or full-length Scoliosis Xray’s
- Immigration Chest X-Rays
Surcharges apply for some services (maternity and ACC).
All other services are at a cost to patients, including specialist hospital referrals.
