Chris is an Otorhinolaryngologist with a special interest in Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) surgery for adults and children. He also specialises in thyroid surgery, facial plastic surgery, voice and snoring surgery.

He believes in taking responsibility for extending the frontiers of ENT practice by carrying out clinical research to gain a deeper understanding of the conditions he meets in his work and the most effective forms of treatment in each case.

As a member and regional representative of the New Zealand Otolaryngology Head and Neck Society and a member of the Asia-Pacific Society of Thyroid Society, Christopher shares his findings from the research he has taken part in, and is also able to learn about the advances made by his fellow professionals in the field of Otolaryngology.

He convened the 67th NZ Society of Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgical Conference, and has organised numerous conference workshops and courses in facial skin flaps, surgical airway management, and Ultrasound of thyroid and neck lumps.

Chris keeps abreast of the latest developments in his field in order to provide the best health care for his patients. He takes time with his patients to explain their conditions clearly, and to answer their questions. Fully committed to restoring his patients to better health, he gives advice based on well-proven medical treatments, and performs all the necessary investigations and procedures for the well-being of his patients.
