Profile

Devesh trained in radiology within the Auckland training scheme from 1999 to 2004, including a year of Body Imaging consisting of CT and MRI in his fifth year. After working as a consultant radiologist at Middlemore Hospital, he moved to New York in 2005 where he undertook Fellowships in Oncologic Imaging at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Centre. His fellowships consisted of Body Imaging (CT, MRI and Ultrasound), Mammography and Breast MRI, and Nuclear Medicine, including PET-CT. On returning to New Zealand, he was appointed Consultant Radiologist at Middlemore Hospital, a position he has held since mid-2007. Devesh joined Allevia Radiology (formerly Mercy Radiology) in August 2010. Devesh is the lead Radiologist for weekly Colorectal and Haematology Multidisciplinary meets at Counties Manukau Health and lead Radiologist for the weekly Oncology Multidisciplinary meetings at Allevia Radiology.
