Profile

Specialising in musculoskeletal and interventional radiology.

After moving to New Zealand in 2005, Lara worked as a laboratory research technician for The Liggins Institute. She then went on to a medical degree at the Auckland School of Medicine. After a year as a General Surgery and Vascular Surgery registrar, she settled into Radiology specialty training in the Auckland region, achieving her RANZCR Fellowship in 2023. She then completed her Musculoskeletal Fellowship with Allevia Radiology in 2024. Her main interests include musculoskeletal and general abdominal imaging as well as teaching.
