Profile

After finishing his specialist radiology training in New Zealand, Peter completed a Fellowship in Diagnostic Ultrasound and Mammography at UCLA Medical Centre (Los Angeles) in 1992. Peter joined Allevia Radiology (formerly Mercy Radiology) later in 1992 and then joined Hibiscus Radiology in 2004. He returned to Allevia Radiology in 2013. He has been a consultant Radiologist, performing general radiology at North Shore Hospital since 1992. Peter has an ongoing special interest in obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound and breast diagnosis. He reads mammograms for Breast Screen Waitemata & North and is one of the small team of Radiologists who perform additional assessment of women recalled following initial reading of their mammogram.
