Profile

Mr Glenn Bartlett is a co-director of the New Zealand Institute of Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery.

A graduate of the Auckland School of Medicine, Mr Bartlett trained in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in the mid-1990s at Auckland’s Middlemore Hospital, Burwood Hospital in Christchurch, and at NZIPCS. He passed the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons Examination in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in 1997.

In 1998-99 he sought higher training and experience at the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne, Australia, where he pursued interests in Craniofacial Surgery, Paediatric (Children’s) Plastic Surgery and Hand Surgery.

During this period, Glenn also trained with some of Australia’s top cosmetic surgeons.

Rhinoplasty, otoplasty, facial rejuvenation surgery, skin cancer and melanoma surgery, reconstruction of facial trauma, hand surgery.

Paediatric plastic surgery including:

  • craniofacial anomalies
  • hemangiomas and related vascular disorders

  • ear anomalies
  • surgery for Erb's Palsy.
