Profile

After having completed my medical degree at McGill University (2002-2007) and my orthopaedic surgery training at University de Montreal (2007-2012), I worked as consultant orthopaedic surgeon for 6 months at CSSS de l'Energie in Shawinigan, before leaving Canada for further post-graduate fellowship training. I undertook a one and a half year fellowship in Trauma, pelvic/acetabular surgery and revision arthroplasty at the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne, Australia, and a 9 month fellowhip in Paediatric orthopaedic surgery at Starship Hospital in Auckland.

I have now been in public practice at Southland Hospital since May 2015 and in private practice at Southern Cross Hospital in Invercargill since August 2016.

In addition to my public commitments, I have a weekly private clinic in Invercargill and fortnightly clinic in Queenstown. I operate weekly at Southern Cross Hospital in Invercargill.

  • Paediatric and adult trauma and post-traumatic reconstruction (including soft-tissue knee arthroscopic surgery and ACL reconstruction)
  • Hip and knee arthroplasty and revision arthroplasty
  • Pelvic/acetabular surgery
