Entry and admission can be initiated through one of Mental Health Services three crisis teams, or local Community Mental Health & Addiction Teams or as a 'Transfer of Care' from another inpatient unit or General Hospital.

Description

He Manu Pae is a six bed subacute unit for people over the age of 18 years and is based in a community setting.

He Manu Pae has a recovery focus with all clients supported to be part of their individual care plan. He Manu Pae has a small team of a nurse, auxiliary workers and an occupational and social worker assisting clients in their recovery journey.

Our Service supports all age groups (Child, Youth, Adult, Older adult), who are experiencing acute symptoms.
