Referral Process
Referrals can be received from your GP and other health professionals. To aide in treatment we require a recent comprehensive physical examination, including all recent laboratory results from your General Practitioner.
Referrals are via the MHSOP team based at Ward 6C, Dunedin Hospital. Once a referral is recieved, it will be sent on to the Gibson Day Unit when appropriate. Some referrals are made directly with Gibson Day Unit and staff will deal with these accordingly.
