Oncology involves the diagnosis and care of people with cancer. Oncologists will coordinate cancer treatments including chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and referral for surgical removal of cancer. Care is usually provided by a multidisciplinary team, including oncologists, nurses, radiation therapists and dietitians.
