We provide medical oncology clinics, chemotherapy treatment and radiation therapy - Monday to Friday from our new purpose built building.
Throughout the month we also have visiting Oncology specialists who conduct clinics in the department on Wednesdays and Thursdays. They are from Palmerston North and include Haematology, Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology specialists.
Outpatient oncology clinics are also held in Hāwera Hospital monthly.
Some clinics are being held either via phone or video link - you will be advised if this applies to you prior to your appointment.
We also provide a Cancer Coordination service five days per week, which includes a multi professional team of experts to assist patients through their cancer journey.
