Description
Hestia provides comprehensive family violence services for women and children who have experienced or are experiencing abuse in their home and live in the Hibiscus Coast and Rodney region.
Locations we cover: Ōrewa, Hibiscus Coast, Dairy Flat, Coatsville, Warkworth, Matakana, Leigh, Mangawhai, Wellsford, Te Hana, Helensville, and Highway 16.
We can meet with you at home or another safe place to discuss your experiences and choices, help you to make safe plans for yourself and your children. Our refuge workers are experienced and provide confidential, non-judgmental support, whether or not you choose to leave the relationship. We can also help you with WINZ, lawyers, courts, housing etc and walk alongside you as you work towards achieving your goals and regaining safety.
We offer crisis assistance on a 24/7 crisis line and immediate emergency needs e.g. clothing, food parcels, access to medical assistance to replace prescriptions and requirements for children such as formula and bottles.
When needed we also provide a safe house service which is based in the Rodney district.
If rehousing is necessary to gain safety we can assist with provision of furniture and household items.

Our community advocates work between the hours above, however we are available on our crisis line 24 hours a day. We will do admissions to our safe house 24 hours a day.
Public Holidays: Closed ANZAC Day (25 Apr), King's Birthday (3 Jun), Matariki (28 Jun), Labour Day (28 Oct), Auckland Anniversary (27 Jan), Waitangi Day (6 Feb), Good Friday (18 Apr), Easter Sunday (20 Apr), Easter Monday (21 Apr).
