Support and recovery social work, counselling and education for women, men and children in areas of sexual violence.
Age: 5 years and over. We will provide support for caregivers of children under 5 who have experienced sexual harm.
Region: Manawatu, Horowhenua, Tararua
Abuse and Rape Crisis Support Manawatu provides:
- Individual Support - for survivors of sexual violence, recent or historic, and their families including information on legal and medical procedures
- Counselling - for children, adolescents and adults who have experienced sexual violence
- Voyage Programme - programme for children (5-11 years) who have experienced the effects of abuse (sexual, physical, emotional or psychological)
- Community Education - for community organisations, workplaces and health related areas
All our services are FREE

It is encouraged that you call to make an appointment.
Referrals are not required but are welcome.

During COVID-19 Alert Levels 3 and 4 we provide services remotely. We still accept referrals but clients will be contacted by phone and there will be no face-to-face service delivery other than for crisis situations.
During COVID-19 Alert Levels 1 and 2 we provide face-to-face services.
