Description

Cambridge Community House offers a range of social services, including budgeting, counselling, and family violence support services to the people of Cambridge (and surrounding area); delivered in a safe, professional, warm and inviting setting. 

Our social services include:

Budgeting: Our professional financial mentors provide free, confidential, one to one budgeting advice to families and individuals.

Family Violence: We have staff members dedicated to providing support with family violence and anger management.

Education: The Community House offers courses or tuition in conjunction with other providers, for example; Adult Literacy, Parenting Workshops.

Volunteer Driver Service: Providing the community with transportation to health and wellbeing appointments.

General and Alcohol/Other Drug Counselling: Our qualified counsellors can help you to work through a wide range of issues

Cambridge Community House also supports Alcoholics Anonymous support groups; Tough Love parenting group; Literacy Waikato education; Waikato Brain Injury, head injury support group.

Fees and Charges Description

Some of our services, such as alcohol and other drug and family harm counselling, are free of charge and general counselling is at a subsidised rate.
