City Impact Church’s Community Impact

Social Service

We are a family church, focused on bringing the love and truth of God to our generation. We run a number of fun, inspirational events for children and young people, making this a church that is relevant to the whole family.

City Impact Church was pioneered by Senior Pastors Peter and Bev Mortlock in 1982. From the start they had hopes for the church to become large enough to make a difference and today we are seeing the fulfillment of that dream.

God has given Pastors Peter and Bev a simple, yet powerful, vision and purpose for City Impact Church to accomplish. It has been the same since day one, and has enabled a healthy, welcoming church to grow as a result.

City Impact Church’s Community Impact Days are about taking responsibility for whanau needs in our community.

We believe our family does not just consist of church members, but extends to those who live around us. We are here to serve our community – to be God’s hands and feet to those in need.

The Bible in James 4:7 talks about caring for the needs of orphans and widows, and those most vulnerable. This has become part of our mission.
