Community Networks Wanaka is your local resource hub for social wellbeing services. We aim to inform people of and connect them with available support services and coordinate community support services. 

Services we provide or assist with access to include:

  • Welfare (including foodbank, budgeting and social workers) 
  • Counselling and access to counselling funding
  • Social services (including senior services and the Total Mobility scheme)
  • Local community services (including a JP service, transport to hospitals, Community Law and Meals on Wheels)
  • Government agencies (including IRD and WINZ assistance, Immigration NZ and passport forms)

We can provide referrals and information about skills courses such as IT training for Older People.

Supporting financial independence

We can provide referrals to free budgeting services.
