Description

Paeroa Community Support Trust operates from two centres, the Hauraki Resource Centre and the Carehouse, which provides resources and support in a way that meets the needs of the Community of Paeroa and the surrounding districts.

We provide services including:

  • Paeroa Budgeting Services
  • Volunteer drivers for transport to hospital appointments
  • Oscar programmes (After School Care and holiday programmes)
  • Paeroa Neighbours foodbank
  • Paeroa Meals on Wheels
  • Youth programmes (Kids can Cook, Friday Night Friend-zy, Leaders in Training)
  • Music progammes (Music & Movement, Music Tuition - youth, Tuning In - Seniors, Disco Action for special needs)
  • Education (Mahi Pūtea - Making money personal, Maximised Cooking - cooking on a budget)
  • Annual event (Day Camp - 4-day farm based for youth, Children's Day Event)
  • Senior activities and programmes (Senior outings, Community Bus, Weigh-in team)
  • Thames Valley Alternative Learning
