Education and training

Our Family Workers and Mentor also work with the children in their school environment as the need arises. This is evidence of the effective and valued relationship we have established with the schools in our community. 

Our Trust also works in collaboration with the Dunkirk Activity Centre and our Family Workers take children who we work with to the "ARTS R US" programme at the Centre. We also take families to other local programs in the community such as Active Families, Mindfulness and Building Awesome Whānau, the latter of which we co-facilitate.

Our Social Worker runs programmes for children in local schools that help with grief and trauma and also the development of Pro-Social Skills.
