Serving and partnering with the community is valued at Taupo Baptist. Below are just a few programmes that run regularly from the Church:
Christians Against Poverty Services
- CAP Debt Centre - If you find yourself in debt and can't find your way out, call the church office 07 3789275. We will put you in touch with a Debt Coach who will lead you through getting out of debt and taking back your financial freedom.
This is a quarterly service held on a Sunday afternoon that caters specially for those with intellectual disabilities while all are welcome to come. Each service includes some music, a craft time, some teaching and ends with afternoon tea. They are great fun.
A place of welcome to connect and be refreshed. Come and have a coffee, a chat, some time out and if you want there is always someone to pray with you. Every Wednesday at 11am.
We run a community meal Mondays 5.30 - 6.30pm. Open to all (during school term only).
30 minute pre-school music programme, Thursdays 10am (during school terms). First session is free, following sessions are $5 a week which include a delicious morning tea for children and caregivers.
- Sunday Service - 10am.
- Wednesday Service - 10.15am. This is a shorter service suited for older people followed by a time to gather and socialise. Our Wednesday focus is on refreshments and fellowship.
